How we got started
- The Holmes Whaley Lake Civic Association was formed in 1952 to promote and protect the interests of the residents of Holmes and Whaley lake in the Town of Pawling and to promote social and recreational activities for the community.

What we do
- The Holmes Whaley Lake Civic Association is located in a renovated fire house on Route 292.
- We provide an annual scholarship to a deserving Pawling High School senior.
- The Civic Association hosts an annual penny social with the proceeds going toward different projects in the community
- There are several different classes/events hosted at the civic center. Among them are exercise classes, scrapbooking, and game night, hosted in conjunction with the Pawling Free Library.
